Key Program Pillars & Requirements

Target Institutions

Top-tier public research universities and the elite TU9 Alliance of leading Institutes of Technology (e.g., TU Munich, RWTH Aachen, TU Berlin).

Language Thresholds

Dual system. English-taught International Programs require IELTS/TOEFL. However, native German-taught programs—which represent the vast majority of zero-tuition public university tracks—require advanced TestDaF or DSH (C1 level) certification.

Employment & EU Blue Card

Upon graduation from a German higher education institution, international students are granted a highly generous 18-month post-study job seeker visa. During this stay-back window, students can work completely unrestricted and the visa can be converted directly into an EU Blue Card or a German Residence Permit for Employment the moment a relevant corporate job offer is signed.
